The Training Centre of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – also known as Forum Macao – is organising a Seminar on Co-operation in Traditional Medicine between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries. It will be held between July 18 and 31.
A total of 25 professionals and representatives of entities from Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique and East Timor are expected to take part in the Seminar.
This will be the third training course to be held by the Training Centre of Forum Macao this year. The Seminar will be conducted by representatives of the Guangdong-Macao Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology Industrial Park. It will be held in Macao, Zhuhai, Hengqin and Guangzhou.
Participants in the Seminar will attend several lectures, and take part in group studies and exchanges. They will also go on field trips relevant to topics covered by the Seminar, including ones related to Traditional Chinese Medicine, clinical science and pharmaceutical management. Other topics to be addressed during the Seminar include international co-operation under the “One Belt, One Road” initiative, and Macao’s role as a platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.
This training course is aimed at enhancing exchanges between Mainland China, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It aims to improve professional knowledge in the field through co-operation between the three sides, and by taking advantage of the role of Macao as a platform.
