Second group of tourism professionals from Portuguese-speaking Countries begins training, internship in Macao

The Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) and the Macao Government Tourism Office have welcomed the second group of tourism professionals from Portuguese-speaking Countries for training and internship.


A total of 10 tourism professionals from Portuguese-speaking Countries have enrolled in the training and internship activities, including professionals from Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique and East Timor.


The internship period in Macao will take place from May 23 to June 3. It aims to introduce how the Macao tourism sector is managed and how it has developed over the years, seeking also to boost co-operation in tourism between Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries.


During the training session, participants will learn more about new methods for tourism management, which can help improve the services and products offering of the tourism industry in their respective countries.
