The Workshop on Training for Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises from Portuguese-speaking Countries will take place in Macao between April 15 and 28. The workshop has been organised by the Training Centre of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao).
A total of 27 participants have enrolled for the workshop. They represent authorities, associations and companies from Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal and East Timor.
This will be the first 2016 workshop organised by the Training Centre of Forum Macao. It is being presented in co-operation with the City University of Macau.
Several lectures, visits and exchange sessions related to Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) will be held during the period of the workshop, including presentations on SME development, investment and trade, fiscal policy, and import and export of products. The aim is to promote closer ties between, respectively, Portuguese-speaking Countries, Macao, and Jiangmen and Guangzhou in Guangdong Province.
Participants in the workshop will also have the opportunity to take part in the “Macao Week and Dynamic Macao Business and Trade Fair in Jiangmen (Guangdong)”.
Training sessions organised by the Training Centre of Forum Macao are essential to deepen the role of Macao as a service platform, to strengthen business exchanges between China, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries and to foster regional co-operation.
