The Rio Grande do Sul Poultry Association (ASGAV) received a visit from a representative of Chinese importers on February 4 in Porto Alegre (RS). The meeting was chaired by the organization's executive president, José Eduardo dos Santos, and focused on the resumption of chicken meat exports from Rio Grande do Sul to the Chinese market.

“The demand for poultry products from Rio Grande do Sul by Chinese importers is increasing every day, which is why it is imperative to resume exports to that market,” stated José Eduardo dos Santos.

The visit reinforces the relevance of Rio Grande do Sul's poultry industry in international trade and the willingness of Chinese importers to resume business with the country's production sector.
