The BYD Auto Brasil ended the year 2024 with excellent performance, achieving a sales volume record and reaffirming its leading position in the electric vehicle market. According to the datas from the Brazilian National Vehicle Distribution Federation (Fenabrave), in December 2024, 10,091 BYD’s vehicles were registered in Brazil. With this sales volume, the Chinese brand took 8th place in the overall sales ranking in December, breaking its own record for sales in a single month and once again confirming its solid growth in the Brazilian market.

With 76,713 vehicles registered during the year, the Chinese company recorded growth of 327.68% compared to the 17,937 registered in 2023. Brazil has become the BYD's largest overseas market besides China. 

The Vice President of BYD Auto Brasil, Alexandre Baldy, emphasized that this record is not just a milestone, but a reflection of the BYD's commitment to innovation and sustainability.
