On October 30, the president of the Pedagogical University of Maputo, Jorge Ferrão, participated in the 3rd Forum for Presidents of Higher Education Institutions of China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries, held at the University of Macau.

With the topic “The Portuguese Language in China - From Macau and the Greater Bay Area”, the forum focuses on strengthening academic cooperation, promoting quality bilingual training, and exchanging knowledge between the Chinese and Portuguese languages.

Jorge Ferrão reinforced the interest from the Pedagogical University of Maputo in expanding partnerships with Chinese universities, promoting the exchange of teachers and students, as well as strengthening academic collaborations.
