On October 30, the CNA participated in a workshop in Brasilia to discuss regulatory cooperation strategies between Brazil and China in the area of biotechnology.
During the meeting, the biotechnology related institutions from Brazil and China discussed the development of a sector plan to promote greater understanding between two countries on biotechnology, including the development of bilateral agreements that contribute to the transparency and the reduction of bureaucracy in the field of biotechnology.
In addition, the workshop highlighted the requirement for more smooth communication between the Sino-Brazil regulatory agencies and the holding of regular technical meetings to ensure constant scientific exchange.
