The president of the Paraíba Development Company - Cinep, Rômulo Polari Junior, represented the governor of Paraíba, João Azevêdo, in a recent ceremony that celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Foundation of the People's Republic of China, where he was received by the new Consul General , for the Northeast region, Lan Heping.

According to Polari, Paraíba has dedicated itself to strengthening ties of friendship and cooperation with China. He listed some results of Paraíba's commercial relationship with the Chinese government, such as the implementation of the BINGO radio telescope, with an investment of R$33 million, and a wind energy project implemented by CTG Energia, a Chinese company, in Paraíba.

The executive expressed that there are still several other businesses in progress and these projects will further consolidate the strong economic partnership and technical-scientific cooperation between Paraíba and China.
