On September 25, the president of the Xinhua News Agency, Fu Hua, met with Isabel Domingos, São Tomé and Príncipe's ambassador to China, in Beijing.

Fu expressed that, guided by the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, Xinhua will tell good stories about the mutually beneficial cooperation and people-to-people ties between the two countries, as well as between China and Africa. Xinhua will make the most of its advantages in global reach to contribute to the common pursuit of China and African countries in realizing modernization.

Stressing the importance of people-to-people exchanges in bilateral relations, Domingos said that the São Tomé and Príncipe embassy in China is ready to promote cooperation between the African country's media organizations and Xinhua, implement the cooperation of the FOCAC and bring benefits to the two peoples.
