The Chint Group has announced the installation of its first factory in South America in Itumbiara, Goiás. Initially, the plant will focus on the production of circuit breakers, but there are plans to produce inverters in the future.
Chint Power's CEO, Li Jun, pointed out that the investment in Brazil is part of the company's global expansion, driven by its success in the Brazilian market, which has seen sales grow by more than 200% in the last year. In addition to the factory, Chint has already invested around R$5 million in a new service center in Guarulhos, as well as an office on Avenida Paulista.
Chint Power has already delivered more than 100,000 inverters to Brazil and sees the Brazilian market as promising for expanding the use of BESS (Battery Energy System).
