Salvador Caetano Auto, a leading Portuguese vehicle distributor and importer, has reached an agreement to import and distribute XPENG. This collaboration will allow XPENG electric vehicles to be sold in the Spanish and Portuguese markets by 2024.

XPENG, a leading Chinese brand and pioneer in smart electric vehicle technologies, is seeking to establish a presence in several European, Middle Eastern and African markets with its “Go Abroad 2.0” strategy.

Dr. Brian Hongdi Gu, president of XPENG, highlighted Salvador Caetano’s international experience with a long history of distributing brands in Europe, South America and Africa.

Sérgio Ribeiro, from Salvador Caetano Auto, stressed that the partnership will allow XPENG’s technologically advanced electric vehicles to be quickly offered in the Iberian Peninsula market.
