Vice president of Vale praises partnership with China in renewable energy

Vale's Vice President of Corporate and Institutional Affairs, Alexandre d’Ambrosio, highlighted, at the “Brazil-China: 50 years of friendship” event, the partnership with China not only in the mining sector, but also in renewable energy.


“A historic commercial partnership that goes beyond the mining sector. This is how I see our relationship at Vale with China”, he said. He also said that the relationship between Vale and China is “deep and multifaceted”, with the Asian country being the company’s largest market since 2006.


“Technological exchange also brings us closer together. China is a major supplier of equipment, materials and services for the mining, infrastructure and logistics areas of Vale's global operations”, he highlighted.


“One of the recent examples is the presence of Chinese technology in some of our most important projects using renewable and 'cleaner' alternative energies, Sol do Cerrado, in Minas Gerais, considered one of the largest solar energy parks in the world. Latin America ."
