BYD has officially confirmed that the first vehicle to be produced at its factory in Camaçari will be the Song Pro. It is a plug-in hybrid model that has recently arrived on the Brazilian market.

The information came from Alexandre Baldy, senior vice president of the brand in Brazil, during the presentation of Song Pro itself.

The factory is expected to begin operating at the end of this year in the CKD (Completely Knock-Down) format, that is, through kits with unassembled product parts. By 2025, the plant will have full production. As the factory is still being prepared, BYD imports 100% of its products sold on the national market.
