The President of Equatorial Guinea, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, landed on May 27 in China.

According to the website of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea (PDGE), the Equatorial Guinean representative will have an official visit to the Asian giant until May 31, invited by Chinese President Xi Jinping. President Obiang's visit will inject new impetus into the comprehensive and in-depth development of friendly relations between the two countries.

This is Nguema Mbasogo's eleventh visit to China, a nation with which Equatorial Guinea maintains transcendent ties of friendship and cooperation. The leader was accompanied by his wife, Constancia Mangue.

The official program of this state visit includes two audiences with businesspeople who will cooperate with Equatorial Guinea, a visit to properties belonging to Equatorial Guinea in China, etc.
