The ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Angola, Zhang Bin, has been in Cabinda province since April 27 for a three-day working visit. The aim is to talk to the local authorities about the projects underway in the region, which are being carried out by Chinese companies.

The 15-strong delegation accompanying the ambassador was received at Maria Mambo Café Airport by the Vice-Governor for the Technical and Infrastructure sector of Cabinda province, Agostinho da Silva.

On April 28, the Chinese ambassador will visit the Sassa-Zau Water Treatment Plant, 25 kilometers north of the city of Cabinda, a project that has been in full operation for about a year, supplying water to the city of Cabinda, outlying districts and the village of Lândana (Cacongo) and the Caio Deep Water Terminal (Porto), which is currently under construction.
