The Minister of Industry and Trade, Rui Miguêns de Oliveira, acknowledged that Chinese presence and collaboration at various levels has been crucial, important and critical to the relaunch of Angolan industry.
In a recent interview with the Chinese news agency Xinhua, the minister also expressed gratitude for China's strong support in post-war reconstruction and the construction of new infrastructures.
Rui Miguêns de Oliveira emphasized that the participation and presence of Chinese companies and financial resources were fundamental to the initial recovery of destroyed infrastructure, such as bridges, roads, power transmission lines and water supply systems.
The Minister of Industry and Trade noted that after the restoration of infrastructure, Angola witnessed investments by private Chinese companies in various industrial sectors, bringing new vitality and showing Angola's industrial potential to the world.
