At the University of Brasília, cooperation with the Agricultural University of China (CAU) has been strengthening since mid-2023. On January 29, it was the turn of the Chinese delegation from CUA to visit UnB.

CAU researchers spent the morning at Fazenda Água Limpa (FAL) at UnB, accompanied by vice-rector Enrique Huelva and researchers from the University. In the afternoon, they visited the Energy and Environment Laboratory of the University's Faculty of Technology (LEA/FT).

“One of the pillars of this new era is agriculture. Fighting hunger and producing healthy food in a sustainable way are fundamental objectives in which our countries are committed to cooperating”, said dean Márcia Abrahão.

“I believe that the practical partnership between our institutions can start with mechanization and bio-inputs. We will insist on the integration of education, industry and technology”, suggested the dean of the Faculty of Engineering at CAU, Song Zhengue.
