The SOS Children's Villages in São Vicente hosts Warm Childrens Hearts on 23 January. The initiative is expected to benefit around 100 children and 25 families with free specialty consultations in areas such as traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine and surgery.

In addition to free medical consultations, the SOS Children's Villages Social Center in São Vicente received a donation consisting of necessities, sports, school and hygiene materials.

“And to continue the action to show the friendship between the people of China and Cape Verde, the Embassy cooperates with the Chinese Medical Mission and the Chinese Institutional Friendship Association to once again convey our affection for the children from the island of São Vicente," highlighted the ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Cape Verde, Xu Jie.
