The Migration and Foreigners Service (SME) intends to set up a visa issuing office next to the Angola China Chamber of Commerce (CAC) to facilitate the processing of this document for businesspeople from this Asian country, interested in investing in the country.

The fact was announced on the 9th of November, in Luanda by the general director of the SME, João da Costa Dias, during the opening of the “Refresher workshop on migration law and investment opportunities”, promoted by the Angola China Chamber of Commerce.

According to the police authority, which did not provide a date for this purpose, this measure is part of the new visa regime, which seeks to facilitate investor entry into the country.

The migration commissioner highlighted that China is one of the 98 countries that benefit from the new visa-free regime for its citizens to operate in the country.
