Mozambican President Filipe Nyusi has called for the countries of the Portuguese-speaking world to allow their people to move freely from one to another, Lusa reports.

The Portuguese news agency quotes Mr Nyusi as saying after meeting Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa in Lisbon, where he was on a state visit: “There should not be walls, especially among us in the Community of Portuguese Language Countries.”

Mr Nyusi expressed his intention to discuss the matter this month with his counterpart in Cabo Verde, the current occupant of the chair of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries, Lusa says.
