A Mozambican dealer in cashew nuts, Sunshine Nuts, has struck deals with four Chinese importers at the 2019 China International Import Expo in Shanghai, which ends on Sunday, the People’s Daily reports.

The Communist Party of China newspaper says Sunshine Nuts was among 33 southern African businesses invited by the Bank of China branch in Johannesburg to send representatives to the expo.

The report says the bank made arrangements for matching 29 of the businesses with Chinese companies.

The bank advertised the expo at events it put on in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Maputo, the People’s Daily says.
