ADAMA Agricultural Solutions, a company controlled by China National Chemical Corp. (ChemChina), will invest between US$30 million and US$50 million in new factories in Brazil, Globo Rural reports.

The Brazilian magazine quotes ADAMA Brazil Chairman Rodrigo Gutierrez as saying his company is expanding in Brazil so it can develop new active ingredients for pesticides to protect crops.

Mr Gutierrez said the new factories would be in Londrina and Taquari.

ADAMA already has two factories and four offices in Brazil, Globo Rural reports.
