The People’s Republic of China donated five vehicles to the São Tomé and Príncipe Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the A Nação newspaper reports.
Ambassador to São Tomé and Príncipe Wang Wei reportedly said the donation was an example of strengthening cooperation and friendship between both countries.
The donation also reaffirmed “China’s willingness to continue helping the people São Tomé and Príncipe”, he added.
Earlier this year, the countries signed a general co-operation framework agreement covering several areas worth more than US$146 million. Full diplomatic ties were resumed in December.
