Mainland offers 200 scholarships to Guinea-Bissau’s government

Some 200 scholarships have been made available to Guinea-Bissau from the Mainland, the Macauhub website reports.

The site quotes Prime Minister Umaro Sissoco Embaló, who said the scholarships were in agronomy and electronics, and mostly linked to boosting agricultural production – a key focus of for the government.

Mr Embaló said the government had sought foreign partners and investors to boost the agricultural sector, which had the potential to help the country’s development.
