The deputy governor of Paraná, Darci Piana, met on September 12 in Beijing with representatives from AVIC International Beijing and China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC).
Piana presented the investment opportunities in the state of Paraná in various areas, highlighting the expansion of the road infrastructure, with the new concessions, which will attract more than R$ 50 billion in new investments to Paraná over the next 30 years; the construction of Nova Ferroeste, a 1,500-kilometer rail corridor between Paranaguá and Maracaju (MS), which is in the licensing phase.
"The state of Paraná has the fourth largest economy in Brazil and is in the midst of a major investment cycle in all modes," he said.
