Mozambique’s Confederation of Economic Associations, also known as CTA, and Mainland businesspeople are willing to strengthen bilateral ties, Notícias reports.

The Mozambican newspaper says CTA representatives met with a 17-strong delegation from the Mainland that was led by Ji Peiding, a former Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs. The Chinese delegation had experience in agriculture, construction, energy and the automobile industry.

CTA Vice-President Rui Monteiro told Notícias that Mozambique has great potential, especially in the field of agriculture. He highlighted some of the country’s advantages for investors, including its geographic location, tax incentives and transparent labour laws.
