CGN Brasil formalized its interest in investing resources in the construction of a green hydrogen plant in Bahia, as part of its strategy to continue increasing its renewable energy production in the region.
The signature that will seal the acceptance of the company’s proposal by the government of Bahia should take place on the 30th of May, during an event that celebrates the inauguration of the Tanque Novo Wind Complex, the company’s fourth plant in the region and the first to be delivered to the state after the pandemic.
According to the Chinese multinational, Brazil is the country with the lowest production cost in the world for H2V, due to the great potential for the production of solar and wind energy in the national territory. Currently, the country has pilot projects for the production of the energy vector in Bahia, Ceará, Rio Grande do Sul and Rio de Janeiro.
