The Portuguese-speaking countries Business Confederation (CE-CPLP) will have a representation in Macau from June and there is already a name for the person who will lead the representation, but it is not yet official, she said on the 23rd of May to Lusa the president of the organization, Nelma Fernandes.
“In fact, I think it makes sense to have a local representative for the business confederation here to further boost the cooperation relationship”, noted the official.
Nelma Pontes Fernandes is in Macau, where she was on a three-day “exploratory trip” that included a meeting with the chief executive of the territory, Ho Iat Seng, representatives of the permanent secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and Portuguese Speaking Countries (Forum Macau) and a visit to the Deep Cooperation Zone in Hengqin.
