Called MozUp, the Business Development Center was inaugurated on the 14th of June in the city of Pemba, with the aim of supporting the growth and development of Mozambican and foreign companies operating in the province of Cabo Delgado.

The Business Development Center was created within the framework of the exploration of Area 4 Rovuma LNG, by the Mozambique Rovuma Venture S.P.A (MRV) consortium, a joint venture incorporated by Eni, ExxonMobil and China Nacional Petroleum Corporation.

“This initiative is only possible due to the continued commitment of Area 4 partners, other local companies and the support of the Government of Mozambique”, said the MozUp representative. “We look forward to continuing to support SME development and establishing partnerships with other stakeholders to maximize the potential and impact of our activities,” he noted.
