The Government of Bahia, Brazil, takes another step to modernize its education network. On the morning of the 27th of June, the state secretary of Education, Adélia Pinheiro, the special adviser to the Civil House, Matteus Martins, and the representative of the Chinese technology giant Huawei visited the State Center for Professional Education in Technology, Information, and Communication (CEEPTIC), in Lauro de Freitas.

The focus of the partnership is the implementation of the first 100% digital classroom, in Bahia, with the installation of equipment and the application of technological resources. CEEPTIC is a unit with great potential for technology development and innovation.

The partnership started with a memorandum of intent signed with the company, in April of this year, during the international mission of the Bahia State Government to China. On the opportunity, the governor of Bahia Jerônimo Rodrigues also visited a Chinese school, a partner of Huawei, where he got to know the functionality of the connection and the technology applied in the classroom.
