Marcelo Gomes, Co-ordinator of Fecomex, the international office of the Federation of Commerce of Goods, Services and Tourism of the State of Goiás (Fecomércio-GO), will join a Brazilian delegation taking part in the Bilateral Business Co-operation Conference with Chinese Industry Leaders, to be held in Beijing from 6 to 9 August.
The conference will bring together officials and representatives of Chinese companies in the renewable energy and mining sectors, as well as Brazilian businesspeople and executives. The initiative aims to strengthen trade relations between China and Brazil, promote the exchange of experience and identify opportunities for investment and business co-operation.
The programme includes technical visits to PowerChina and State Cloud Energy Technology Group, as well as institutional presentations, business-matching sessions and meetings between companies from the two countries. The Chinese companies are expected to present their projects, products and international co-operation needs. The Brazilian delegation will outline Brazil’s business environment and opportunities for joint action in different sectors.
Marcelo Gomes said that taking part in the conference would allow him to present Goiás’s potential in renewable energy, logistics, agribusiness and industry to Chinese investors, while establishing contacts for future investment and partnerships.
