On April 7, representatives of three Chinese companies from the city of Zhongshan took part in a meeting at the State Secretariat for the Federal District (Sedf-GO) in Brasília. On the occasion, the Chinese investors presented the first products that will be manufactured in Águas Lindas, in the vicinity of the Federal District.

According to what was presented, electric tricycles (known as "tuk tuks") and an electronic monitoring watch that can replace the electronic anklet will be manufactured.

The visit is part of a larger movement to set up Chinese companies in the city. To this end, the city government is building an industrial center and a Convention Center, where Itec - Canal Expresso Brasil-China will operate. 

"It's an honor for us to seal this commercial partnership with China, which will bring development not only to Águas Lindas, but to the state of Goiás, to Brasília and to Brazil," said the mayor of Águas Lindas, Lucas Antonietti.
