A team from the company Insight Energy, from Londrina, which specializes in repairing and maintaining heavy machinery, is in China with the aim of learning about new technologies and seeking out new suppliers of equipment and services for the sector. The mission will last a fortnight and will visit cities where Chinese companies in this area are concentrated.
Insight Energy wants to take a closer look at how the Chinese are modernizing their hydroelectric plants, an activity that is gaining momentum in Brazil. “As in so many areas, China is also a benchmark in upgrading power plants. We want to learn about these technologies and processes in order to further improve the services we already provide here in Brazil," said the founder and CEO of Insight, Sérgio Fagundes, who is leading the delegation.
The itinerary includes visits to factories and suppliers in the cities of Chengdu, Shenzhen and Shanghai. The engineers from Paraná will also visit the Three Gorges (the world's largest) and Baihetan hydroelectric plants.
