On March 10, the Greater ABC region took part in an economic and commercial exchange and cooperation meeting between China and Brazil. The event, held in São Paulo, focused on the development of strategic sectors and the promotion of investment and trade, with the aim of deepening relations between the two countries.
The meeting, organized by the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, was attended by government officials from Brazil, including the Minister of Agriculture, Carlos Fávaro, and Deputy Governor Felício Ramuth, as well as business associations and representatives from the private sector. In addition, deputy mayors and representatives from cities in the Chinese province attended the event, reinforcing the exchange between the local governments of Shandong and Brazil, with the aim of strengthening institutional and commercial ties.
Aroaldo da Silva, the executive secretary of the ABC Consortium, said: “The meeting encouraged rapprochement with various Chinese government areas and also included a business roundtable. We are discussing the possibilities for our region.”
