With the aim of expanding the construction of Macao as a Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, promoting the exchange between Chinese and Lusophone cultures, as well as continuously driving diverse experiences in school activities, the Student Affairs Office of the Macao Polytechnic University (SAO-MPU) organized the 3rd China and Portuguese-speaking Countries Cultural Festival, under the theme "Blossoming at the Encounter of Chinese and Lusophone Cultures".

During the Cultural Festival, there was a wide variety of performances, including African folk dances, traditional Chinese and Western music, among others. Chinese students and students from Portuguese-speaking countries wore traditional Portuguese costumes and performed Portuguese folk dances. Additionally, at the international cuisine stalls, typical dishes were presented and prepared by the students themselves, allowing students to taste them and promoting diverse cultural exchange.

Participating international students mentioned that through this activity, they felt the multicultural and inclusive atmosphere on the MPU campus, helping them quickly adapt to academic life in Macao. MPU actively promotes intercultural exchange, and every year students are eager to participate in various cultural activities, in order to increase mutual understanding between Chinese and Lusophone students and inject new vitality into Macao's multiculturalism.
