The Macau International Short Film Festival, organized by the Macau Institute of European Studies and CREATIVE MACAU – Center for Creative Industries, opened on December 3 and runs until December 10. This year's festival promises a diverse program, with more than 30 sessions that include fiction, documentaries, animations and music videos.
After a selection process of the 5,836 entries received from more than 130 countries and regions, 121 films and music videos will be shown during the festival, including ten Portuguese productions and co-productions, five from Brazil and one from Angola.
In addition to film screenings, the festival will also host three ‘masterclasses’. These sessions focused on critical aspects of film production.
