YTO, one of the largest tractor manufacturers in China, announced a robust investment of US$150 million in the construction of its first factory in Brazil, in Caruaru, Pernambuco.
This move marks the company's official entry into the Brazilian market, with an aggressive strategy that includes the local production of 100 tractors per month and the generation of 3,000 direct jobs in the region.
YTO entered into a strategic partnership with BDG Máquinas, a Brazilian company with more than 30 years of experience in the automotive sector. The collaboration aims to combine local know-how with Chinese efficiency and innovation.
The Chinese company also intends to participate in tenders for the supply of tractors to city halls, state and federal agencies.
