Adapting Chinese technology is essential for energy transition in Brazil

The director of communications and institutional relations at State Power Investment Corporation Brasil (SPIC Brasil), Roberto Monteiro Júnior, said in an interview with TV 247, during the event "Brazil and China: 50 years of friendship", that renewable energy will be one of the pillars of cooperation between countries over the next half century.


The executive defended: "Brazil and China have complementarities. We have all of nature's supply, and China is at the technological forefront. We need to study the issue of the electric car itself. The discussion is about the model we are going to adopt for the energy transition, and China can help us adapt Chinese technology."


He predicted a deepening of cooperation between Brazil and China in the area of renewable energy. In a friendship relationship, we make partners stronger.
