UM visits Angola and Mozambique and deepens legal cooperation with local institutions

A delegation from the University of Macau (UM), led by the director of its Faculty of Law and the Center for Judicial and Legal Studies of China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries, Tong Io Cheng, visited Mozambique and Angola.


During the visits, meetings were held with higher education institutions and local legal departments, discussing international law issues and exploring ways to strengthen international legal training programs.


In Mozambique, the delegation visited the Faculty of Law at Eduardo Mondlane University. Plans for future cooperation in academic research, teacher training and student exchange were discussed, aiming to improve the level of legal teaching and research and strengthen collaboration.


The delegation also visited Angola, where it was at the Agostinho Neto University and participated in a seminar. Issues related to student exchange, strengthening of teaching cooperation, organization of joint seminars and research projects were discussed, “agreeing to intensify academic exchange and carry out joint scientific activities”
