CNCEC wants to use Porto do Lobito to operationalize the material

On February 27, during a tripartite meeting between delegations from Sonangol, the Chinese company National Chemical Engineering Company (CNCEC) and the Board of Directors of the Port of Lobito expressed their interest in using the services of the Port of Lobito Terminals, to operationalize the material for the future manufacturing unit.


According to the general director of CNCEC, the company already plans to send a containerized cargo ship every month.


The National Chemical Engineering Company is the contractor contracted for the construction of the Lobito Refinery. The general director recalled that the Lobito Refinery, when fully operational, will have the capacity to process more than 200 thousand barrels of oil per day.


The president of the Board of Directors of the Port of Lobito, Celso Rosas, also expressed full satisfaction with the intention expressed by CNCEC. This could increase maritime traffic at the Port of Lobito.
