The governor of Santa Catarina, Jorginho Mello, signed a protocol of intentions with the Chinese company TP Link on January 11th. The group that manufactures routers and technology accessories is a leader in the segment in the world and saw Santa Catarina as an attraction to operate part of its inventory and import logistics.

“For us, it was a source of pride that TP Link came to Santa Catarina to learn about our differences. Naturally, she comes to Santa Catarina, an innovative state,” said a state representative.

TP Link has 44 factories in Asia and distributes routers, security cameras, SmartHome systems and other devices to 170 countries. It is responsible for 50% of the European market and 35% of consumption in the United States. In its 27-year history, it has sold more than 1.8 billion products. In Brazil, the company already has a distribution center in the state of São Paulo.
