Shein is returning to Rio de Janeiro, almost two years after its last presence in the city. This time, the Chinese clothing e-commerce platform is launching a pop-up shop on the second floor of the Fashion Mall shopping centre in São Conrado (Zona Sul). The initiative coincides with the Christmas shopping season, seeking to take advantage of the physical retail movement to promote its brand.
The shop, occupying an area of 906 square metres, will be open to the public from the 15th of December until the 18th of December, with an exclusive opening for guests on the evening of the 14th of December.
The idea is to provide a complete experience for customers, with 11,000 pieces, including 5,000 produced locally. The collection will feature summer "looks", covering menswear and plus size, with a selection of the app's most popular styles.
