China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group Co. Ltd is due to finish this month work it began in September 2017 on improving 62 km of road between Maria Teresa and Dondo in the Angolan province of Cuanza Norte, Angop reports.

The Angolan news agency says Angola is using money from a China-backed credit line to pay for the US$71 million project.

The road improvement project and other infrastructure projects will help the province develop, Angop quotes Cuanza Norte Governor Adriano Mendes de Carvalho as saying.
