Chinese ambassador to Angola Cui Aimin has said Chinese and Angolan officials are persisting with lengthy talks meant to lead to agreements on investment protection, foreign exchange and relief from double taxation, Jornal de Angola reports.
The newspaper quotes Mr Cui as telling a news conference that the agreements, once reached, may attract more Chinese investment in Angola.
The ambassador said Sino-Angolan negotiations meant to result in new financing agreements are also in progress.
The news conference was about the summit meeting on Sino-African co-operation to be held in Beijing next month, which Angolan President João Lourenço is due to attend, Jornal de Angola says.
