Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has said Sino-Brazilian co-operation shows great vitality and promise, Xinhua reports.
The Chinese state-run news agency quotes Mr Wang as saying so in a meeting with Brazilian Foreign Minister Aloysio Nunes, who is visiting Beijing.
Mr Wang called for further co-operation, and the exploitation of synergy between the Chinese Belt and Road initiative and the Brazilian Investment Partnership Programme.
The Belt and Road initiative is meant to improve the infrastructure required for Chinese trade with Asia, Europe and Africa, and the Investment Partnership Program is meant to create jobs and spur growth in Brazil through investment in infrastructure and privatisation, Xinhua says.
