Ms Glória Batalha Ung has been named by the Macao SAR Government as Deputy Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao. Her appointment was effective from May 1, 2018.

Ms Batalha Ung is an Executive Director at the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and Secretary-General of the Committee for Development of the Commercial and Trade Cooperation Service Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.

She has a deep understanding of the trade environment in each Portuguese-speaking Country. Ms Batalha Ung is fluent in Portuguese.
