The Cabo Verde Investment Forum next week will discuss 22 projects, Inforpress reports.
The Cabo Verde state-run news agency quotes the coordinator of the conference, Manuel Lima, as saying each project requires investment of at least 2.5 million euros (US$2.85 million).
Mr Lima said 17 of the projects, together requiring EUR822 million euros, were in the tourism business.
He said the conference would also discuss ways to finance projects by small or medium enterprises.
The conference will be held on the island of Sal from July 1 to 3, with the purposes of speeding up investment in the private and public sectors, of ensuring that economic growth is sustainable, and of creating jobs, Inforpress says.
