The Angolan Ministry of Mineral Resources and Petroleum has announced that a roadshow touting what will be put up for sale at the next auction of Angolan mining licences will make its stop in Beijing on September 16, Jornal de Angola reports.

The newspaper quotes the ministry as saying on Saturday the roadshow will begin in Luanda on August 27, then go to Dubai on September 10 and Beijing before ending in London on September 20.

The report says the roadshow will be open to representatives of companies, embassies, banks, chambers of commerce and industrial associations of any nationality wherever it goes.

Licences to mine minerals in each of five Angolan provinces will be sold: one to mine diamonds in Lunda Norte and one to mine diamonds in Lunda Sul; one to mine phosphates in Cabinda and one to mine phosphates in Zaire; and one to mine iron ore in Cuanza Norte, Jornal de Angola says.
