London private equity company Actis Capital announced on Wednesday the sale of Brazilian wind power generator Atlantic Energias Renováveis SA, the Recharge News website reports.

Recharge News says a written announcement issued by Actis fails to identify the buyer or give the price, but the website quotes a statement issued by Brazilian law firm Azevedo Sette as saying the practice helped China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN) buy Atlantic Energias Renováveis.

The Actis announcement says Atlantic Energias Renováveis runs four wind farms in Brazil with a combined capacity of 642 megawatts.

In June Italian energy company Enel SpA sold CGN the Gamma project, a set of solar and wind farms in the northeastern Brazilian states of Piauí and Bahia, which have a combined capacity of 540 megawatts, Recharge News says.
