Mozambican Prime Minister Carlos Agostinho do Rosário has promised reforms to stimulate business, O País reports.
The Mozambican newspaper quotes the prime minister as telling a conference of businesspeople arranged by the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique that his government will review the law governing labour and the regulations governing insolvency, and reconsider its land policy with a view to helping investors, all with a view to improving the business environment.
Representatives of the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce reached an agreement at the conference on which reforms should be given priority this year, O País says.
